SUNDAY SERVICE: EVERY LAST SUNDAY
4:00 - 6:00pm
The Sunday Service is about God, friendship, ideas and inspiration. You'll be warmly greeted by members of the Step 11 congregation, given the program for the service, and invited to find a seat. There's a welcome reading, statement of our primary purpose, a reading of Step 11 (Sought through prayer...), and a short guided meditation followed by an upbeat Sunday message. The floor is then opened to 1-2 minute sharing from individuals regarding the message, followed by announcements, the offering, and the closing prayer and song. Then you're on to social time and refreshments if you like.
Rev. Casey Moffett-Chaney draws from a variety of spiritual works and weaves 12-Step ideas into her message. There is no religious dogma taught here.
We are all about ways of using spiritual principles to form a stronger, more powerful conscious contact with our Higher Power. We use all kinds of stories, symbols and ideas from the various forms of Ancient & Modern spiritual wisdom available to help accomplish that goal.
SOCIAL TIME

Social time is just what it sounds like: time to talk, share, laugh, enjoy potluck, and hopefully to make a lot of friends.
