COUPLES COACHING

What is it?
Rev. Casey Moffett-Chaney has developed a refreshingly unique method for identifying, diagnosing and dealing with issues ranging from simple communication problems to financial concerns, sexual problems, infidelity and addictions. This process results in unprecedented success for those who are willing to go to any length for their relationship and do the work.

Casey is amazingly insightful, and the combination of her talent for diagnosis, and her straight-forward, clear-cut direction will lead you to overcome whatever obstacles and challenges stand in the way of your joy. She works with you as a tennis coach might work with a pair of tennis players. The object of this game is to keep the ball in the court and hit the ball so that it can be continually returned, resulting in a score of Love/Love.

She and her spouse, Rev. Berdell Moffett-Chaney, have celebrated life together since 1983. "We have faced almost every obstacle a committed couple can face. The process of couples coaching I've developed is the refined brain-child of the years of work we went through to achieve our immense success. Our love today is greater than anything I ever dreamed possible; and if we, with our extreme personalities, quirks and differences, could achieve this level of happiness, fun and contentment, so can anyone."

Is There A Fee?
Yes. The cost for Couples Coaching is based on a sliding fee scale, from $60-$125 per session. You decide the amount you are able to pay from within that scale. Sessions last from 1 to 1-1/2 hours, depending on the need of the day.

Can I Use My Insurance?
You would have to check with your company to see if they will cover you. This counseling is connected with our ministry, and is spiritual in its basis. Often, insurance companies will not cover it. That is unfortunate. Many of the couples who have come through here have chosen to pay our fee rather than use covered counseling because our Couples Coaching is so often more effective for them.

How Many Sessions Does It Take?
Casey requires a minimum of 8 weeks for newcomers. Her reputation for success depends upon the commitment of the couple, and anything less than 8 weeks is usually not enough to break old habits and create new ones. She does not encourage never-ending therapy, and after the 8 weeks are up, she and the couple re-evaluate where they are at, and what more needs to be accomplished, if anything. Couples need time to try it all out without therapy. If, after a few weeks off of therapy, a couple decides they want to work on furthering their success, a plan for continuing may be set. This could be 4 consecutive weeks to work through a problem, or every other week for 2 or 3 months. Sometimes it's a once-a-month check-up. It all depends on you.
